FFA Auction Earns $50,000

The 2007 Farm Progress Show and Titan Tire team up again to help support the youth group.

The annual FFA Auction at the Farm Progress Show is not to be missed as farmers get their chance to bid on items for their operations. And bid they did in 2007 as Titan Tire announces that this year's auction earned $50,000.

The proceeds will be divided between the Illinois and Indiana FFA chapters. In a press statement, Jeff Vasichek, vice president of sales and marketing, Titan Tire says: "As a former FFA member and local officer, I applaud the organization's efforts to continue the pursuit of agricultural education and development. The auction is our way of showing our support for the FFA. Titan is honored to be associated with such an organization."

Titan donated a range of ag, construction and all-terrain vehicle tires to the event. In addition, bidders got their chance to buy seed corn, crop protection products and other items.
