Growmark shareholders elected six directors to its board of directors at the regional cooperative's annual meeting in Chicago in late August.
Six of the association's 16 director seats, established by geographic zone, were elected, and will serve three-year terms.
Current officers of the Growmark board include Dan Kelley, Normal, chairman of the board and president; John Reifsteck, Champaign, vice chairman; Rick Nelson, Paxton, vice chairman; and Chet Esther, Frederick, secretary.
Growmark directors re-elected to the board were: Dan Kelley of Normal, representing Zone A; Chet Esther of Frederick, representing Zone B; John Reifsteck of Champaign, representing Zone C; and Ray Steffens of West Union, Iowa, representing Zone D. Henry Kallal of Jerseyville, was elected director-at-large representing Farm Bureau. New to the board is Denis Bordeau of Embrun, Ont., representing Zone F.
